My Story

I began my aviation career in the United States Army, where I maintained the AH-64D Apache. Leveraging my military experience, I earned my Airframe & Powerplant certificate and continue to work as an aircraft mechanic.

My primary passion lies in general aviation and flight instruction. As a Gold Seal Flight Instructor certified in both airplanes and helicopters, I am committed to advancing aviation safety and education. I actively volunteer with the FAA Safety Team (FAAST) to support their safety outreach and continuing education initiatives. For additional resources, I encourage a visit to www.faasafety.gov.

Throughout my career, I have held chief roles under Parts 133, 135, and 141, and served as a First Officer on the Airbus A320 for a Part 121 carrier.

Currently, I am the cofounder of Patch Aero, where we operate a Super Decathlon for specialized training such as tailwheel, UPRT, and spin courses. Our mission is to support every pilot on their journey to becoming an aviator.
